Suggest Treatment For A Spot Above The Ankle, With Pain On Palpation
I have a very sore spot on my bone about 2 or 3 inches above my left ankle. I started noticing it a few months back when I would cross my ankles and touch it. Very painful. Now when I touch it or bump it slightly it becomes excruciatingly painful. It just seems to get worse. It doesn t hurt unless I touch the bone. What can it be?

It needs a physical examination, evaluation will help establish whether or not it has something to do with the bone (probably a bone spur) or is possible an abscess, cyst, etc. Either of these conditions can be treated and you need not live in pain as you have been doing, consult a doctor.
