Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Cramps,nausea And Constipation
Hello,I have been sick with one thing or another since December and been on 10 rounds of antibiotics, which has left my GI track really messed up. For the past 4-5 mo I have been nausea, dry heaving or throwing up, which as gotten better, but my stomach is in constant pain. I have had history of IBS, Colitis. My Appendix, Gallbladder, Uterus and ovaries have all been removed. I went to the ER today and the Doctor gave me Linzess and felt that I have IBS with Constipation, however I have normal (soft) BM s several times a day (sometimes flat). It s the pain and cramping that I am concerned with. I was thinking Librax would be a better drug. Years ago when I had this type of problem the Doctor gave me Donnatal which is not used much any more. I have a regular appointment this week with my Internist. Any thoughts?

Antispasmodics -Librax will do-SOS/ with Bland Diet / Plenty of fluids / High fiber diet,
PPI-like Proton D-for nausea
Constipation-
By lactulose / Bisacodyl softner/
