Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain After Gall Bladder Removal

My daughter had her gallbladder removed yesterday at 9:30 am. She left the hospital at 12:30 pm. She was told that she would experience gas and to walk to get relief. She has done that but had 6 terrible attacks today. She said that it is very, very painful. She is unable to sleep. She can't lie down. She sat upright all night. What can she do to help relieve the terrible pain?
