Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain With Discharge After BC Pill

Hi,

I am on the contraceptive pill and am currently on my 7 day break, yesterday i woken up with very intense achy pelvic pain and abdominal pain, this lasted for an hour or two then when i went to the toilet, i passed a flesh like tissue clot. It was greyish with blood through it and had clear faint veins. I spoke to my GP on the telephone and she said she thinks this is normal. But after this tissue like substance passed, my bleeding is very bright red, a bit lighter but with clear discharge. Any idea of what this can be? Also, the pain dissapeared after passing this. Now i only have a normal feeling of period pain.
