Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My upper left thigh aches most of the night. This is not near a joint - its about 6 below my hip. This has been going on nightly for the past several months. I mentioned it to my GP, but he kind of blew me off. I m worried it could be something scary. If its just a matter of getting older, I can deal with that - I m 61. I m assuming this is not the kind of thing to see an orthopedist about - but what kind of a dr should I see? Or is this nothing to follow up on? Thanks so much for your opinion. I really appreciate it. /p
My opinion is that you start drinking plenty of water before going to bed. Take coconut water daily for a week. You can use painkiller like Tab serratiopeptidase twice a day if pain does not subside.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
