Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I am sorry but she is not likely to get normal posture as it effects bone growth. At present, there is no known treatment for achondroplasia. However, if desired, surgery of limb-lengthening will lengthen the legs and arms of someone with achondroplasia.Gene based therapy may possibly serve as a promise in future. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
