Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Care Should Be Taken For An Achondroplasic Toddler?
My daughter has achondroplasia, and as a result has a slightly raised normal body temperature. I would like to know what to expect her temperature to be (with reference if avaiable). She is not ill, but i am putting together an information package for her nursery.
Hello, I have read your question and understand your concern. It would have been easy if you mentioned the age of child. However, most of pediatricians believe that normal body temperature of infants ranges between 97-100.3 Fahrenheit ( American Academy of Pediatrics). Whenever you feel the child having temperature, it should be recorded by a thermometer. Temperature above 100.4 is considered as fever. Hope your query has been answered.
