Suggest Treatment For Acne Scars

hello doctor , i have had a lot of subcision performed for rolling acne scars . my question is i have developed lumps around the subcision sites i imagine from collagen formation from repeated procedures . what methods work for decreasing these lumps . i have had dermabrasion and co2 combined aggressively . is there any other techniques available .

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne scars on face which is due to hormonal changes and skin has increased sensitivity of getting infected. It could be due to blockage of skin pores. As you had already tried so many treatments and not getting benefited. You can apply Meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone, Tretinoin, steroid and apply it at night time. I would suggest you to take antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and you can go for chemical peeling for scars after proper prescription by dermatologist. Apply aloe vera gel at night. Avoid oily, fried and spicy food articles. Drink plenty of water. You can go for laser therapy as well.
