Suggest Treatment For Ailments After Miscarriage

Hello, I had a pregnancy which stoped in evolution so I had to do surgical procedure. After the procedure at 4 days at the visit, the doctor told me that there is still blood in my uterus therefore I have to make aspiration. Now I have done again a ultrasound and I have still left blood about 1 cm. The doctor told me to take antibiotics and inflammatory pills and wait for my period. But I am concerned about complications. Should I visit another doctor? Please give me an advice because I want to be able to give birth, I want to add that my uterus have thick walls and is the first time I have done such procedures Thank you!

Hello,

You can follow as you are advised to take antibiotics. There are only chances to develop infection if any amount of conception is left inside.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
