Suggest Treatment For Alchohol Addiction, Depression And Possible Bipolar

I have been suffering from alcohol addiction and depression for years. I was taking ciprilex for a few years but it only made me feel numb and lazy. I have been doing some of my own research and I believe I am suffering from bipolar disorder. From what I have concluded I am on my manic cycle. I have been working on my alcohol cinsumption, working out and eating healthy. I am afraid the depression is going to return. My relationship will not survive this time. I need to know how to go about getting a mental evaluation and getting the help I need

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. Please note that you need to seek medical advice with a psychiatrist. You need to have a formal evaluation and you r symptoms treated. I am not sure what criteria you used to diagnose yourself as bipolar, but there are a combination of medications that can keep your symptoms at bay. Lithium has historically been very successful at treating bipolar and your depressive episodes can be treated symptomatically as well with most antidepressants. Hope this helps and good luck.
