Suggest Treatment For Anxiety, Breathing Difficulty And Body Tremors
Hello, I have a serious health question. I know I have anxiety but it s getting so bad! I ve been having breathing issues since 15 now 24 soon to be 25. I have recently for about a couple of months now have been waking up not breathing and gasping for air. My breathing messes up randomly even when not stressed and i get really shakey
As per my clinical experience, the breathing difficulty and body tremors indicate underlying psychological distress and giving secondary manifestations. The condition can be manifestation of anxiety, co-morbid depression or stress hormone release. Treatment is multi factorial approach: - Consultation with a psychologist is must - Prescription of anti depressant as fluoxetine, anti anxiety as lorazepam or temazepam, beta blocker as propranolol, supportive care - Counselling with clinical psychiatrist - Meditations and YOGA - Joining peer groups
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
