Hi, My mother s doctor just changed her prescription for fluoxetine and replaced it with buspar. It looks like buspar treats anxiety where as I thought the fluoxetine was for depression. She is also taking alprazolam for anxiety. This change seems to double up on the anxiety treatment while removing a treatment for depression. Can you clarify the uses for each drug for me? fluoxetine, buspar and alprazolam. And despite the change (made by doc Tues and possibly implemented Wed) she stated she was shaking today. Thank you!
