Suggest Treatment For Astigmatism, Blurred Vision And Allergic Rhinites
Hi Doc, I just recently wear contact lense as for my driving as I am not comfortable wearing eye glasses. At the age of 18 I discovered I have astigmatism as told by my opthalmologist, I am not always wearing eye glasses. At present my grade became (-2.25-left side and -1.75 -right side). But when I wear this contact lense, there is a blurred vision even if the contact lense is having some grade. Why is it like that? I keep on cleaning and putting some eye drops to avoid dryness but still the same. I. I have allergic Rhinites. Is this related to this? Thank you so much.
Hi, Welcome to the HCM The people having astigmatism need to wear contact lens or glasses especialy made for people with astigmatism. I would suggest that get checked your lenses by opthalmologist and discuss furthet wether these lenses are suitable for you. Allergic rhinitis causes watery eyes too,if you are suffering from watery and red eyes then it could be one of the possible cause of blurred vision. Hopefully my answer will be helpfull. Regards, Dr.Maheshwari
