I have a history of pain in back and neck. 5 months ago pain in back below left shoulder blade. Injection in back solved problem but three weeks ago, pain came back. Very painful one week ago followed by numbness on outside of left index finger and inside left thumb. Pain has subsided in back but numbness remains. Also now depending on position of left arm as in sitting down to type, tingling sensation in index finger and thumb occurs withing 30 seconds. This now occurs in many positions even in some while I'm standing.
