Suggest Treatment For Back Pain And Puss Cells In Urine

Hello Doc, my name is Anne, I m having a back pain, and I have pus cell in my urine, my doctor prescribe me antibiotic, but the pain still there... And my arms and shoulders get numbed. My sister was having an operation of kidney stone last 2000. And she felt same symptoms, could I possibly have kidney stone too?

I have gone through your query. Kidney stones also can give same symptoms along with coexisting urinary infection also. In such case an ultrasound examination will help to rule out that. Urine routine as well as culture and sensitivity should be done and change antibiotic if necessary. Take more water. Cranberry juice or barley water will be helpful. In case of small kidney stones taking potassium citrate in water also will be helpful.
