Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Radiating From Shoulder To Back

Hello, my mother is suffering from back pain in the shoulder/top area of her back. She cannot move, and the pain she is describing sounds like muscle spasms. She says the pain is only in one place but she feels it into her arms. She says it also hurts when she coughs. She is about 5'6" 120 and is 39 years old.

welcome to HCM,
I had gone through the case and found that it is most probably muscle spasm with nerve pulled as symptoms described by her. so give her painkiller necoxia 60 mg twice a day and apply muscle relaxant gel with heating pad.

Avoid to lift the heavy weight and take rest. If pain persist or increases in two three days ,go for x- ray and consult to orthopedic .

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks
