My sister-in-law was diagnosised with bacterial meningitis. We were with her prior to her onset. We have flu like symptoms. Our symptoms seem mild. we did have flu shot. The ER doc says not contagious form and she had got this from scar tissue possibly being infected-she is recovering cancer patient.. We are concerned because of heart, diabetes concerns. How concerned should we be?
