Suggest Treatment For Bee Sting With Fever And Chills

My 5 year old was stung by a single bee about 4 hours ago but now he has a low grade fever, fatigue, chills and is just generally acting like he isn t feeling well. Could this be related to the bee sting and if so should I take him to the doctor or try to treat it at home? He has been stung one other time last year but didn t develop this reaction and I did remove the stinger.
