Suggest Treatment For Belly Button Hernia

My baby girl is 7 month old and she has 1cm belly button (hernia). She suffered with pain in recent past for 3 times, we observed that it happens when button gets hard. We took her to the children doctor and it was told that it is quite normal and the button shall disappear in 2 to 3 years. The same information was provided in many sites as well. However I wish to know the better in the best treatment for this and where it can be done in Hyderabad, AP, India. I am attaching the belly button image which is quite similar to the one my baby has, but in less size.

In infants, the problem is not usually treated with surgery. Most of the time, the umbilical hernia shrinks and closes on its own by the time a child is 3 or 4 years old.
Umbilical hernia repair may be needed in children for these reasons:
The hernia is painful and stuck in the bulging position.
Blood supply is affected.
The hernia has not closed by age 5 or 6.
The defect is very large or unacceptable to parents because of how it makes their child look. Even in these cases, the doctor may suggest waiting until your child is 5 or 6 to see if the hernia closes on its own.
