Wow, I didn t expect a live doctor. Thank you. I have a large blister on the ball of my foot, about the size of a quarter or larger. It is a friction blister and it was rubbed until the skin was barely hanging there. I cut the skin off. I am concerned about infection, though it looks clean. Just the location worries me as far as infection. Also the pain has become worse in the last six hours. The blister arrived on the evening of Tuesday. Should I make an appointment with my doctor? I have been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and water, then dressing it with neosporin and a bandage.
