Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Lower Buttocks

I have blisters on the bottom of my butt cheek, it is sore, there is some fluid that comes out of it and it looks like scabs. There is no white puss in it only a clear fluid. I haven t had sexual contact with anyone but my boyfriend of 2 years, so I want to rule out herpes. What other possibilities could it be. It does not look like psoriasis either.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blisters on lower buttocks. Blisters on the buttocks are actually relatively common. Dirt and moisture get trapped by your clothing and the friction that comes from sitting can cause pimple . other causes are folliculitis or boils. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry , apply cream containing azelaic acid , apply warm compresses with soaked towel and apply vitamin C serum at night. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory or anti fungal . Doctor may also prescribe benzoyl peroxide ointment .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
