Suggest Treatment For Blisters On The Tongue Of A Kid

my 2 year old has bumps or blisters it looks like on his tongue and has a fever what couldn't this be from and also I did take him to ER and they called it a sin to let herpes he gave me some medication for it to put on his tongue and sent out like of mouthwash thing but it almost looks like it made it more blisters what am I to do

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain if your child is diagnosed with herpes causing cold sores and fever then only topical application of medicine will not be only helpful.

It requires oral intake of antiviral drugs in child doses to relieve from further outbreaks and reduction of fever..

I would suggest you to consult a Paediatric dentist and get evaluated for the problem and get treatment done..

Antiviral drugs like acyclovir oral and topical therapy can help in relieving the symptoms and preventing recurrences.

Keep a watch over the child so that there is no communication with any person infected with the virus as he must have been infected by someone who had herpes.
