Suggest Treatment For Blockage In Heart Valves

Hi sir. My dad is 60 yrs old. He had is bipass surgery 5 years ago. But last week he got heart attack and we took echotest and the doctor advised to do angiogram. In that it was found block in 2 valves. the doctor told the do angiopasty with stent procedure.Pls tell me is it safe to that or bipass surgery. can he do bipass surgery 2nd time?

hello,I have gone through your question.I can understand your concern.As per your history your dad had bypass 5 yrs back and now he had heart attack.That means he has developed new blocks in arteries at site other than bypassed arteries.you have been rightly advised for revasuclarisation.In view of one major surgery, angioplasty with stent is safer and easy way to treat his blocks in arteries.I suggestyou to accept that opinion and proceed for angioplasty with stent.
