Suggest Treatment For Blood Blister On The Thumb After Accidental Injury
I smashed my right thumb by accident at work. it caused a blood blister on the tip of thumb just under the nail. I lanced the blood to relieve the dark blood clot. After 5 days now I feel pain in thumb and it is very hard with a light yellow spot visible on my nail. I am 170 Pounds, Male, 6 feet 2inchs tall and age 21.

The injury has caused blood collection under the nail called hematoma. The hematoma changes its color over a period of time from yellow to green to blue. Pain can be due to trauma to the thumb. You can take a pain killer for the thumb pain.
