Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine And High Creatine Level
I am a man, have blood in my urine, higher bun and creatinine levels. I only have only 1 kidney. I had kidney cancer 15 years ago, then it metastasized to my lung 2 years ago. I now have cancer in lymph system and bone. I did lift a heavy bag right before blood appeared in my urine. I also am a diabetic. I was supposed to get zometa and my dr said not with blood in urine or increase in bun. What could cause this?
Hi! I really appreciate your concern for blood in the urine and high kidney function tests. I am of the opinion the blood in the urine could be due to kidney stones that should be ruled out by ultrasound. Besides the serum creatinine and blood urea are also raised this could be due to decreased function of your kidney. In addition the cause of kidney stones could be due to the bone metastasis from kidney cancer resulting in increase blood calcium (apparently not tested). You are advised to kindly consult the urologist for the second opinion. Regards!
