Suggest Treatment For Body Ache, Shivering And Loose Motion
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi , I had shivering and body ache yesterday and today I am having loose motions ...the body ache has subsided but loose motions have not ...Can I try normet ?? my friend suggested lomotil ...which one should be better ....I have taken a dose of normet 4 hours ago ....haven t worked yet ...pls help ..
Normet is an antibiotic. Lomotil is an antidiarrheal agent. Is there any blood in the stool? I would recommend you to try following steps: > Take diphenoxylate hydrochloride and atropine sulfate as an antidiarrheal agent > Take lots of fluids because diarrhea causes severe dehydration. Fluid loss should be compensated or else it will increase become. > Take Zinc once a day as it helps in regrowth of intestinal epithelium > Do not take heavy meals. Try to take lighter meal with liquids(no alcohol)
Report to nearby hospital if : > Condition does not improve in 2-3 days > Quantity of loose motions increase. > You become lethargic/ unconscious
Hope you get well soon. Thank You
