Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of eye discharge, body aches, wheezing,
sore throat and nasal discharge are suggestive of upper
respiratory tract infection and
eye infection.
These symptoms are due to flu or common cold.
Management of these symptoms is primarily symptomatic.
You need to consult your primary healthcare provider for prescription of medication.
In the mean while, you may take an anti-pyretic (e.g.
paracetamol) for fever and pain killer for body aches.
The eye infection may be bacterial or viral.
A clinical assessment is necessary to diagnose the condition as bacterial or viral.
In the meanwhile, you may use
artificial tears for soothing effect.
Anti-histaminic preparation may be used for stuffy nose.
For sore throat, you may take saline gargles. Antibiotics are actually required but get the antibiotic prescribed by doctor.
Wheezing sound is produced due to involvement of larger airways, however, timely treatment will prevent the infection from involving the lower airways.
Thanks and take care
