General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you bring your mother to a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. initially, breast ultrasound and mammography will be done as basic diagnostic modalities. tissue diagnosis thru a biopsy of the lesion, along with breast panel examination, will be recommended for definitive diagnosis of her condition. other diagnostics (x-ray, blood works) and management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
