Suggest Treatment For Breathing Problem And Lungs Infection
I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air it feels like fluids in my lungs and I cough up phlegm. tonight I was laughing so hard I was gasping for air and walked fast to get outside to breathe in fresh air and cough up phlegm again. What is wrong with me ?

short answer : you probably have lung infection and it needs to be evaluated
detailed answer: cough with sputum worsening in the night has to be examined you may need antibiotics ,anti histamines to get out of this problem,
consult your treating physician he will examine you
your treating physician may ask for chest xray and some blood tests depending upon the severity of the disease.
