Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis While Suffering From Thyroiditis And Idiopathic Urticaria?

Hi, I have Hashimotos thyroiditis and idiopathic urticaria. I m a female that had a complete hysterectomy for ovarian cancer. I am trying to understand and treat the awful itchiness from hives. I take armour thyroid for hypothyroid. I ve been to 4 Dr s , that just brush everything else off as deal with it and only worry a but regulating thyroid. I have changed diet to all organic, no artificial dye or flavors, grass fed meats and chicken eggs. I no longer wear synthetic fabrics plus reduced them significantly out of home. I ve reduced the amount of soy and absolutely no high fructose or bleached anything. I have eliminated caustic chemicals of cleaners and soaps. The only thing I can come up with as my most recent trigger was that I was I ll with bronchitis and had to take an antibiotic. It s been 2-3 weeks with no relief.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for trusting us with your query.
I would like you to clarify a few things for me
How old are you? What kind of ovarian cancer did you have and what stage was it?
How long have you had idiopathic urticaria and Hashimotos thyroidits? which came first?

The hives:- are they all over your body, are they painful and itchy or just itchy. if painful, is the pain more than the itching?
do they appear after itching or before? do you have any swelling of the tongue, eyes or difficulty breathing?
Auto immune disorders can occur in clusters., that is more than one disease. it is basically your immunity attacking cells in your body which are usually harmless.
Hashimotos and idiopathic urticaria and two such diseases.
Do you have a history of asthma or bronchitis or is this your first time?
Stress to the body in the form of illness or severe emotional stress/ anxiety can trigger the urticaria.
there are other trigger factors as well, most of which you have taken care of.
I would like to add a few more like sunlight, extreme cold, tight clothing.
you could be allergic to armour thyroid as well ( if the urticaria started after you started it) or the antibiotic you took for bronchitis.

I recommend treatment with antihistamines and to find out trigger factors and exclude them. Bronchitis, if still present , can be treated with bronchodilators and mucolytics, if required.
Do try a find a doctor who WILL help. Insist if you have to.
I believe in helping the person as a whole and not just treating their symptoms and I'm sure you will find some who can help you.
don't give up.
hope I've helped. wish you good health.
feel free to get back to us if you need further clarification .
