Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

Quick question. I m prone to Bronchitis-in fact I have it right now (taking Cephalexen for it), and I m scheduled to have surgery for my deviated septum in a few weeks. The Bronchitis has been with me for 3 weeks and doesn t seem to want to go away . Should I call my doc and reschedule?

You are suffering from bronchitis for 3 weeks and already on cephalexin. If your surgery is a few weeks away, then hopefully your current condition will improve by then and rescheduling by only a prediction might not be a smart choice. You can wait 5-7 days more to watch response of current therapy and if not controlled, contact your physician for changes of antibiotic therapy.

If still not improved, then you can think about reschedule your surgery . Best wishes for your quick recovery.
