Suggest Treatment For Bruised Penis And Ankle After Injury

I m weak from a illness. I took 2 steps and my legs just gave out at the knees. The heel of my right foot ended up between my legs and between my testes and anus. My foot is broken, that happened a week ago. But now I have a 3 bruise which is also 3 tall. I have ice on it. I haven t found any blood. Aside from the foot does this sound very serious? Should I goto hospital tonite? I actually have a appointment at my Dr to check my foot tomorrow, but right now I can t sit down!

Hello,

You need to consult an orthopedist for clinical assessment of ankle joint. In case of fracture, cast application needs to be done. For bruises, ice application can be done. For pain, you may take pain killers.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
