Sunday morning about 4 am I had protected oral and protected vaginal sex with an unknown female, and I do not know her status as to STDs. I washed my penis and testicles with soap right after the intercourse I then went home and poured listerine on my penis. Why? because right after I was afraid of catching an STD. I went home and went to sleep I woke up around 10 am to feel burning and pain on the tip of my penis, and constant urge to urinate. I would go to the bathroom and urniate and it did not burn for me to urinate however I still had the urge. On Monday the burning was slowly fading away by Wednesday it was still there but not as intense and I bought a jock itch over the counter cream from the pharmacy hoping it would just be an infection, I forgot to mention on Tuesday and Wednesday I drank a lot of water and cranberry juice which did help with the burning. Now on Thursday I wake up to a red round circle on the right side of the shaft of my penis and on the right scrotum. I am extremely terrified as I have been searching all over online for genital herpes symptoms, and I am extrmeley afraid of having caught genital herpes. I am almost 100% sure I have and I feel terrible. I know it is too soon to get tested as my possible exposure was on sunday and today is thursday. What should I do?! I am desperate for an answer or diagnosis.
