Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In Arms/face/chest
Yes please...my 89 year old father has been experiencing bleeding gums and severe burning sensations of his upper body, mostly arms, face and chest. He currently takes 50mg of metoprolol twice daily. These symptoms have become increasingly more pronounced and severe the last 10 months. The burning sensations are worse upon lying down. He has seen 5 dentists and two physicians to no avail. Please help us if you can...thank you..Barbara
if father is diabetic then watch for vitamin B-12 and folic acid level in blood. burning sensation in upper body part without any other problems is associated with nerve tissue problem. radiculopathy is one of the common cause (at this age), in which nerve is compressed between two vertebrae. consult with spinal surgeon for nerve compression.
