Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Right Breast

I have a burning sensation in my right breast. I have not had any trauma to the area. I do not notice any swelling, bruising or lumps. Has been going on for a couple of days. I am 44 and had a Supracervical Hysterectomy 2 years ago. Please advise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to mastitis. I suggest you do an ultrasound of the breast to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment. Meanwhile, I suggest using Ibuprofen for the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
