Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation Near The Thighs

Hello - I have been experiencing some burning sensation near my upper thigh but attributed it to extra walking I have been doing at work. I was taking a shower and noticed 3 red pimples and general redness near the area. At first I was thinking insect bites but now I m wondering about shingles. I had chicken pox as a child - I m now 57 and have not had the shingles vaccine. Any thoughts?
