Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain With Difficulty In Breathing

Hi, I'm 20 years old, usually a very healthy person with an amazing immune system. About a week ago I had a pain in my chest that was worse when I would breathe. I took tums and aspirin and the pain disappeared. But ever since I have a pain in my right arm that feels like when you sleep on it wrong, but all day, and for several days. It starts at the wrist and continues to the elbow and I can occasionally feel it in my shoulder. Is it just a coincidence or are the two incidents possibly related in some way?

Hello,

The Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more likely. So, follow these below steps for better symptomatic relief in musculoskeletal pain:

1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid sudden jerky movements of chest and shoulder.
3. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of arm.
4. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like Ibuprofen and Thiocolchicoside.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
