General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a paediatrician and get an enema done to pass the motion. Sometimes manual removal has to be done. You can give him laxative syrups like lactulose for smooth bowel movements.

Get a thyroid function as hypothyroidism can cause chronic constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
