Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic depression ( Dysthymia ) . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query, but in your case the symptoms are due to depression . I would suggest you to consult psychiatrist for proper examination . Doctor may dophysical exam , ask in-depth questions about your health to determine what may be causing your dysthymia , order complete blood count, to check your folate and Vitamin D levels and psychological evaluation . Doctor may prescribe antidepressants , sedatives and do counseling . For now take light walk daily , do meditation and yoga along with good diet .
