Ok where do I start, for the past 8 months I have been suffering from chronic insomnia. It all started from a back injury that interrupted my sleep at night. Turns out I was born with an alignment issue on my facet joint. I work out regularly. I do cardio kickboxing and my intense workouts caused my back a lot of strain. Two epidurals later, acupuncture and some core strengthening exercises my back feels a little better. My sleep however, remains interrupted. I am a recent graduate student and despite all my stress I am exhausted at night and cannot sleep. I toss and turn all night and eventually fall asleep around 4am-5am. I wake up with a headache and burning eyes every day. I am fatigued all day but when night comes instill cannot sleep. I don t know what to do?
HI Thank for asking to HCM You have "Circadian rhythm sleep disorders" your biological clock need to be reset, and for that you have to change your habit of taking nap in day time keep your self very much active during day time, before going to bed have hot shower have cup of hot milk, avoid smoking, alcohol, stop watching TV, instead you can read any nice book, stop thinking any thing weird, you have to keep these thing in your habit till you get natural sleep and this is not difficult, rather it is very easy to call the natural sleep, I would advise to follow this method only, otherwise pharmaceutical agents are there, but I do not advise for this, I hope this answer would be helpful to you have nice day.
