Suggest Treatment For Chronic Rhinitis & Tonsilitis

hello,I am a 36 year old female who has chronic rhinitis,chronic tonsilitis a mild deviated septum and allergies.I have an app. with an ENT on oct 20th because she wants to check my epiglottis .she thought it looked like is was bending forward .however when i look at my epiglottis with a dental mirror and flash light ,i notice a white lump.what can this be? I am in good shape and have no problems with exersice.maybe i should also mention a tickle in my upper chest that is relived when coughing or a hot beverage.

Hello,
With self examination you might get confused with the normal structures.
There could bean ulcer over the epiglottis and so it looks swollen . Or there could be coating on the posterior part of tongue and because of the lingual tonsil it looks swollen.
Get examined and start gargles with betadine solution .
In doubt do reply.
