Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sinusitis

What does all this mean? Does this indicate the need for additional sinus surgery? I am a 54 yo woman with two prior sinus surgeries. CT sinus without contrast History: 473.9 Unspecified sinusitis (chronic), chronic sinusitis. History of sinus surgery. Unenhanced sinus CT: Axial images with sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Compare November 10, 2010 Bilateral uncinectomies and ethmoidectomies as before. Moderate polypoid mucosal thickening left maxillary and left ethmoid remnants. Mild mucosal thickening left frontal sinus. Moderate because of thickening left sphenoid sinus. Right frontal sinus appears patent. Mild mucosal thickening right ethmoid and maxillary ostia. Nasal septum is essentially midline. Impression: 1. Moderate mucosal thickening left maxillary, ethmoid, sphenoid sinuses. Associated narrowing left ethmoid, maxillary and frontal sinuses. 2. Status post bilateral uncinectomies, ethmoidectomies. These extend to the frontoethmoidal recesses. 3. Changes on the current exam are more pronounced than those from November of 2010.

Hi
Sorry to say that again disease recured in you.i have gone through your complaints.in sinus surgeries they wil facilitate draining by doing uncinectomies.most of the cases recurrence of sinus problem is most commonly due to allergy.mucosal thickening causing polypoidal growth causing problem in breathing.here you have moderate mucosal thickening of left maxillary ,ethmoidal and sphenoid sinuses.if it causing severe problem its better to go surgery as these are not treated medically .consult ent surgeon and go for surgery.
Thank you
Regards
