Suggest Treatment For Coccidioidomycosis Fungus Disease

pulmonary t b complicated with coccidioidomycosis fungus disease can i came for treatment my patient with 43 years old with old pulmonary tb 20 years ago then complicated with fungus lead to effected the lung tissue result in 2 cavity about 5-5 cm in apex of left lung the dr resect the effected part but with out treat the fungus because of hyper sinsivty of pt to amphotericin b and there is no replase drugs in my cuntry the pt now with heamoptysis continouse cough and pnumothorax culture shows fungus coccidioides immitis what i doing please

I can understand your concern.
Amphoterecin B is drug of choice for coccoidiodomycosis in lungs.
But since patient is having hypersensitivity reaction to this drug, we need to replace this with colistin or itraconazole or enidulafungin.
All these are second line drugs for coccoidiodomycosis.
When Amphoterecin B is contraindicated, these drugs should be given.
Better to consult infectious disease specialist and discuss about starting any of these drugs.
I am practicing in India. Here we are using these drugs. So if you don't get them in your country you can come to India for treatment.
