Suggest Treatment For Constant Fever And Shivering After Typhoid
I was suffering from typhoid and was given oframax injection through I.V. for 7 days. The fever(around 100 degrees) again came back after 9 days and remained for 3 days den I took paracetamol. Then I was okay and the fever again again came back after 8 days with a mild shivering. What should I do? I am taking proper diet but still feel very weak.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it appears that the typhoid is not cured completely, or there must be some associates of the typhoid like eosinophelea, or hepatitis. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. you may need to have some more tests like D.C, A.E.C, and other tests . you also may need to have Q.B.C, and urine examination, to exclude malaria, and urinary tract infection. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms protein supplements, and cifixime and di ethyl carbamazine citrate till the diagnosis is established. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
