Suggest Treatment For Constant Fever In A Child

Hi ..my son is heaving fever .. we gave him paracetamol and fever came down . Again at night it increased to 100 ..please advise .. I am out in kerala and not nearby pune which is my home town . I visited the doctor which prescribed the medicine called Meftal P ..please advise if I should go for this Thanks Vijay 0000

Hello if the temperature reises above 38 grade Celsius give him paracetamol half the weight of the child. Give it in interval every 6 hours. Give your child a shower with running warm water (not hot, nor cold) for 10 minutes, to get the temperature low. Keep him with cold compresses. Alternate paracetamol with ibuprofen.
