I have a bad cough and plural effusion has been determined to be cause. the doctor drain 1.5 liters of bloody liquid from the plural cavity but there were still more he has run test and determined no cancer from test also ran a bronchoscopy and all test were negative. there is till fluid in plural what do we do next email YYYY@YYYY

Thsnk you for your question. There many causes of pleural fluid the comonedt being Cancer, infection of the pleura by bacteria, virus or fungi.
Further tests are recommended to rule out other causes
such as chest x Ray. chest CT Scan. MRI.
Full haemogran check if wbc raised.
