Suggest Treatment For Constant Heart Burn While Suffering From Hiatus Hernia

dear sir i have chronic heart burn and associated left chest pain from past one years i had taken endoscopy findings reported esophages shows lax hiatus.docter prescripped esomeprazole capsule for one month only heart burn reduced whlle taking capsules others time continous heart burn appeared.finally doctor recommended laproscopic surgery only cure. please guide me what i should done next

Hello,

Hiatus hernia itself causes constant heartburn. In few people constant heartburn may improve with lifestyle modification with dietary changes.

But in few patients it may need surgery.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Elevate the head end of the bed while sleep. Take intake of small quantity meals.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
