Suggest Treatment For Cough With Mass Amount Of Phlegm
I had RSV nearly 3 weeks ago. Everything is better besides the cough. It's constant and producing mass amounts of phlegm. Last night and this morning, I started coughing up blood-tinged mucous with chunks of what appeared and felt like body tissue. Slightly runny nose, feeling like not getting enough oxygen, no fever, only felt pain in chest twice for 5 mins a piece in the past 2 weeks. Trying to decide whether or not I should leave work and see a doctor.

Chronic cough is commonly seen in bronchitis and lung infection. Get a chest x ray done if it is normal, no need to worry for lung infection. You might be having a lung infection so better consult a doctor at the earliest.
