Hi. I have recently been diagnosed with severe crohn's. 2 weeks later....i was diagnosed with prostatitis... I do not have any fistulas or leaking. I am currently on prednisone and antibiotics for the prostatitis. My penis is still in a lot of pain (been on antibiotics for 4 weeks so far) and my flacid penis is really shrunk. My erect penis appears to be normal... Is the shrinkage normal? How long can I anticipate being in this pain?...it is dreadful
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, inflammatory condition of prostrate gland or the crohn's disease can not cause any shrinkage of penis neither it can be shrink, it can be referred pain from the prostrate gland once the inflammation reduces you may not be having penis pain, although it is very rare or unlikely condition of penis pain because of the prostrate gland inflammation, of course you could be having penis pain but it may not be due to prostrate gland inflammation, just wait for some time and it will be fine soon hope this information helps.
