Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
Thanks for posting your question at this forum.
We understand your concern.
I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India.
I will try to help you.
The problem you are suffering from is a kind of
fungal infection of skin of penis.
This occurs due to prolonged wet skin, repeated exposure to water, excessive sweat, excessive rubbing due to mani7pulation of genitalia etc. The infection produces minor cracks in skin, burning sensation,
redness, pain on stretching and difficulty in sexual activity. This illness needs prompt treatment, otherwise it may spread to sex partner also.
In your case many of the symptoms indicate that you have contracted this disease.
Now I will suggest you remedy. If a patient like you comes to me for advice I suggest them to follow the following instructions :-
1. Firstly, avoid frequent exposure to water.
2. After bath or after urination you should pat dry your penis with sterile cloth.
3. Apply antifungal cream like
miconazole or
clotrimazole at affected area of skin.
4. Avoid sex till cure.
Sometimes in case of recurrent infection
oral antifungal treatment is also required. But, it is strongly recommended to take medicines only after prescription by a doctor.
I suggest you to go to nearest physician or
dermatologist and get your diagnosis confirmed.
Look, due to chances of recurrence, you have to keep you penis dry as far as possible and should avoid damage due to rubbing. Due to chances of spread by sexual contact, your partner should also get checked and take the therapy if needed.
Hope, this answers your question. I wish you all the best.
